SIFE teams in China, Korea, and Thailand may apply for grants ranging from $500 to $750 (USD) to deliver a project aimed at children and youth ages 7 to 19. Educational programming or hands-on learning should encourage SIFE teams to identify, develop, and operate Economic Opportunity Projects (EOP).

The program seeks to improve the economic opportunities of young people, aged 7 to 19. This program easily aligns with the new SIFE Judging Criterion: Considering the relevant economic, social and environmental factors, which SIFE team most effectively empowered people in need by applying business and economic concepts and an entrepreneurial approach to improve their quality of life and standard of living?
